Ballon race at Chesham carnival

This year's annual Chesham Carnival on Saturday, June 16 is quickly approaching so I have been thinking about what the newspaper can do to help.
As well as offering a prize for the best non-school float we have now decided to hold a balloon race as these seem popular with people and will be a great way to end the carnival with us releasing hundreds of balloons. The person whose balloon goes the furthest will win a great prize which I am currently trying to organise.
Anyway, I have been looking into how this all works and have been told I need a huge net to hold the balloons in throughout the day. I was amazed to discover this will cost about £50! So I thought I would see whether anyone has done something like this before and happens to still have the net that we could borrow a long shot, but worth a try I thought!
All of the money we raise from the race will go to the carnival.
Tickets will be on sale for £1 from our offices in Germain Street, Chesham and The Vale, Chalfont St Peter, I'll let you know when.
If you can help that would be great. Please give me a call on 01753 888333 or leave me a message below.
If you can't help, then please just pray for sun on June 16th!
