Blimey Charlie, what a day!
My news editor Ben Steele has gone on holiday today so I have been left to finish sending all of the pages to the sub editors to lay out as well as my usual job of reading and checking all the pages. I think it does you good to do someone elses job every once in a while as you realise all the elements that make up the paper, and also how hard other people work!
Anyway, despite things being somewhat hectic I think we have come up with four excellent papers again this week.
In the Advertiser we look at how the Chalfont St Peter Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) has performed one year after it was launched. We also have a update on the situation at Tesco, I am starting to think that saga may never come to an end!
The Beaconsfield Advertiser is looking at what is happening at The George in Beaconsfield which seems to be of some concern to residents.
Sadly the Examiner carries a story about a man who has been killed in an accident. It is always horrible having to write these stories, approaching the family of a deceased person is never easy. However a lot of the time the family does want to talk and they want people to know about the person who has been killed. The victim's family were obviously very proud of him and all that he achieved in his life.
The Amersham Examiner has the story of a patient who has escaped from the Hale Acre unit at Amersham Hospital.
All in all a real mixed bag of news.
Please remember you can comment on any of our stories on the website. It's good to get feedback about what you think so feel free to share your views.
