White van man strikes again

You may remember back in May I posted a blog about the fact I had received a letter demanding £100 as I had, allegedly, not paid a penalty charge notice.
Well I am happy to report that two months later I have recevied a letter confirming my innocence.
I failed in my first appeal which really annoyed me as I knew I hadn't been anywhere near London on the day they said and I certainly hadn't parked illegaly. Eventually after several phone calls I finally got Westminster Council to tell me what car the ticket had been put on. A white van they said. Me, a white van man, I don't think so. They clearly had the wrong person. But that wasn't the end of it. I still had to go through another appeal wasting more of my time and then had to wait nearly another month to be told everything was ok. No apology though - that would be too much to ask.
